All-night vigil at the Spaso-Voznesensky Cathedral in Ulyanovsktranslated

On October 10, on the eve of the 19th week after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the Venerable Chariton the Confessor, the Venerable Schema-Monk Cyril and Schema-Nun Mary, the parents of the Venerable Sergius of Radonezh, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky held an all-night vigil at the Spaso-Ascension Cathedral in Ulyanovsk.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were the cleric of the cathedral, Hieromonk Hilarion (Khrol), Hieromonk Anthony (Zazheko), Priest Dimitry Trofimov, Deacon John Kosyakov, and Deacon Alexander Shevchenko.

During the service, the Mixed Choir of the Ascension Cathedral sang under the direction of regent Roman Khitev.
