Sunday school pupils and their parents visited the shrines of Yurovichi and Mozyrtranslated

On the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother's Day, a pilgrimage trip to the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery in Yurovichi and the Church of St. Archangel Michael in Mozyr was organized for mothers and children of the parish of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in Gomel.
The trip was attended by Sunday school students, their parents and teachers.
At the Yurovichi Monastery, pilgrims learned about the history of the monastery, visited its shrines and took part in common prayer. During excursions and conversations, children and adults were able to learn more about the Orthodox tradition and the life of the monastery.
The trip continued with a visit to the Church of St. Archangel Michael in Mozyr.
The joint pilgrimage became an opportunity for parish families to spend time together, get acquainted with the shrines of their native land and share the joy of prayerful communication.
