Bike ride in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the Zvenigorod Deanerytranslated

On July 5, 2026, a bicycle ride was held in the Zvenigorod deanery dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The start was given at the Church of the Nativity in Zvenigorod. Before the start of the route, the chairman of the Commission for Physical Culture and Sports of the Odintsovo Diocese, Priest Nikolai Kurenkov, performed a prayer service and blessed the participants.

The cyclists rode through picturesque places - from Zvenigorod to the village of Zakharovo. Along the way, the participants overcame small road obstacles, supported each other and sang soulful songs. The athletes finished at the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom.

After the arrival, the chairman of the Diocesan Department for Work with Youth, priest Sergius Zolotov and priest Nikolai Kurenkov, served a prayer service to Saints Peter and Fevronia for the well-being of families. Then a delicious meal awaited everyone.

The program continued with activities: they held a quiz based on the book of St. Paisius the Svyatogorets “Family Life”, organized fun sports relay races and outdoor games.

In total, about 60 people took part in the event. The bike ride turned out to be not just a sporting event, but a day of live communication and shared recreation.
