Vaslui: Metropolitan Serafim visited the vulnerable children of Negrești supported by the Romanian diaspora communitiestranslated

Metropolitan Serafim of Germany, Central and Northern Europe visited on Saturday the children of Negrești, Vaslui county, supported by the Romanian communities in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg.

Through the missionary-humanitarian project "Scholarships for children from Moldova", for over 15 years, believers from the diaspora support vulnerable young people from Vaslui localities.

Support provided through this program includes providing food, clothing, supplies and medical assistance. At the same time, children participate in pilgrimages and camps organized during the holidays.

Children need the prayers of their parents On the occasion of the visit, His Holiness Father Seraphim officiated the Holy Liturgy in the "Descent of the Holy Spirit" Parish - Negresti I, where he highlighted the responsibility of parents in the formation of the young generation: "Let them pray, be good and give birth to all the children God sends them".

"There are very beautiful children and young people who lead pure and holy lives and their good behavior is due to the prayers of their parents."
