The Week of Parental Love was opened in Zhlobintranslated

On October 14, the dean of the Zhlobin church district, Archpriest Alexey Smotritsky, took part in a gala reception dedicated to Mother’s Day, which took place at the Zhlobin city cultural center.

Participants in the event included women of different professions and generations. Mothers with many children, leaders, social activists and women who take an active part in the life of the district were awarded with awards and memorable gifts.

The festive meeting opened the Week of Parental Love. Chairman of the Zhlobin District Executive Committee Sergei Yarets and Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Malobitsky addressed the audience with welcoming words.

Archpriest Alexey Smotritsky congratulated the women on Mother's Day and wished them peace in their families, mutual understanding and gratitude from the children. The priest noted how important it is for children to notice the love and care with which they are surrounded, and to respond to them with sincerity and warmth.

The event ended with a festive concert program prepared by artists of the Zhlobin City Culture Center.
