At the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Zheleznogorsk, educational meetings for the laity have beguntranslated

On October 4, at the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Zheleznogorsk, the educational courses for the laity began.
The first lesson was conducted by the dean of the Zheleznogorsk ecclesiastical district, the cathedral's priest of Archangel Michael, Protopresbyter Roman Neshcherevtsev. He introduced the participants to the discipline "Language and Symbolism of the Orthodox Liturgy," within which laypeople will be able to understand the meaning of the evening liturgy, comprehend the essence of the Divine Liturgy and the Sacraments of the Church. Father Roman spoke about the origins of the liturgy and the structure of daily, weekly, and annual liturgical cycles, and then led the participants on a tour of the church, explaining the significance of the altar, the central part, and the narthex.
The meetings will take place every Sunday at 6:00 PM in the building of the Sunday school. The parish notes that the educational mission is one of the priority directions of their activities, and the doors of the school are open to both those who have long lived a church life and to those who are just taking their first steps towards Orthodox faith.
