In Vologda, a New Church Will Be Builttranslated

The church is planned to be consecrated in honor of Blessed Xenia of Petersburg. The plot for construction has already been chosen. The church will be located on the territory of Kovyrinksky Park, at the intersection of Gagarin and Shchetinin Streets.
Historically, there have been no Orthodox religious structures in this area, but the demand is present. Residents of nearby houses have no opportunity to attend divine services within walking distance and have repeatedly made requests for the construction of a church.
As reported by the charitable foundation "Legacy of the Russian North," the complex will include the church itself, a separate building for the Sunday school, and a church shop. Nearby, a pear orchard is planned to be planted. Metropolitan of Vologda and Kirillov Savva has supported and blessed the construction. All those willing to contribute financially can do so, as the bank details have been published on the foundation's social media.
