Fr. Alexandros Kaitidis assigned to Holy Trinity Church in Hicksville, NY

With the blessings of Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, the Archdiocese of America announced the assignment of Protopresbyter Alexandros Kaitidis as Presiding Priest of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Hicksville, New York, effective November 16, 2026.

Born in Edessa, Greece, on October 6, 1981, Fr. Alexandros was ordained to the Holy Diaconate on November 21, 2004, and to the Holy Priesthood on July 17, 2005, by Metropolitan Anthimos of Thessaloniki. In recognition of his dedicated service to the Church, he was elevated to the rank of Protopresbyter in 2014.

A graduate of the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, Fr. Alexandros also holds a degree in Byzantine Music. For 18 years, from 2005 to 2023, he faithfully served the Holy Church of Prophet Elias in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, where he developed vibrant pastoral, charitable, educational, and youth ministries.

Since June 2023, he has served as Presiding Priest of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Throughout his priestly ministry, Fr.
