On July 8, the cleric of the Cathedral of the Nativity of John the Baptist in the city of Yurga, priest Evgeniy Dovgal, visited the day care department for minors of the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children in the city of Yurga. It’s good that Father Evgeniy told the lives of Peter and Fevronia, and not just congratulated them. I just planted Murom cucumbers in our garden this year, so I remembered them. I wonder if the children asked the priest anything later?

Yes, life is the most accurate; children remember better through history. Are your Murom cucumbers long or stout? My wife also planted this year, but so far the small ones have gone. The children, by the way, then definitely asked, Father Evgeniy always remains to chat after such meetings.

It’s good that it’s life, and not just words. This year I also got Murom cucumbers, but so far they are more suitable for pickling than for salad. Do the children at your center often come up to you with questions or are they embarrassed?

It’s good that Father Evgeniy told the lives of Peter and Fevronia, and not just congratulated them. In our family, we also try to explain things to our children through stories, so they remember them longer. Did the children at the center often come up with questions or were they embarrassed?

It's good that Father Evgeny told them exactly the life of Petar and Fevronia, and not just a congratulatory message. In our choir, we also often talk about them to the children, so they remember them later. Interestingly, did the children in the center ask anything specifically about Murom or about marriage?

Thank you, Ksenia, for noticing about life - Father Evgeniy did exactly that, without further ado. At our center, children most often come up on their own, especially boys aged 10–12, asking about Murom and how to generally get along in marriage. Have you already tried pickling your cucumbers or is it too early? This year my first ones also went for pickling.

I agree, through life it is definitely better remembered than a dry congratulation. It’s the same with my wife and I – after the story about Peter and Fevronia, our daughter asked questions for a week, especially about how they went to the monastery. And in the center, probably, not all the children came right away, were they shy?
