On August 13, the Orthodox Church honors the memory of the Hieromartyr Veniamin, Metropolitan of Petrograd and Gdov. On this day, His Eminence Benjamin, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, celebrates his namesake.
His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with His Eminence Benjamin at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk on August 13, 2026.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Stefan congratulated Metropolitan Benjamin on his name day, wishing the Patriarchal Exarch strength of spiritual and physical strength and God’s help in his archpastoral service.
