In the village of Teya they prayerfully honored the memory of the Venerable Paraskeva of Serbiatranslated

On October 27, residents of the village of Teya, Grigoriopol region, gathered for prayer on the day of remembrance of the Venerable Paraskeva of Serbia, the heavenly patroness of the village. Before the revolution and in the first post-revolutionary decades, there was a church here in honor of the holy ascetic. Subsequently, the dilapidated church building was demolished due to its emergency condition, and in its place a chapel was erected, also consecrated in honor of St. Paraskeva. On the day of the patronal feast, the dean of the Grigoriopol district, Archpriest Marin Sorochan, read an akathist to the Venerable Paraskeva of Serbia and performed a prayer service to the saint of God. Numerous village residents gathered for the service, who came to honor their heavenly patroness and offer prayers to the Lord. At the end of the service, Father Marin addressed those gathered with a sermon, in which he recalled the life of St. Paraskeva of Serbia.
The priest also congratulated the believers on their patronal feast day and wished them to endure the trials of life with patience, resorting in prayer to the help and intercession of the holy saint of God.
