On this day, ceremonial events were held in the Rostov-on-Don diocese to mark the beginning of the school year. Clergy of the diocese performed prayer services before the start of the school year and took part in festive events in educational institutions.
On September 1, the rector of the parish of St. Alexy, the man of God, Archpriest Andrei Ermolaev, at the invitation of the head of the Alekseevsky settlement E.V. Nemashkalova and the director of the Alekseevsky secondary school S.S. Bukshi, took part in the ceremonial assembly. During the event, the director of the school, S. S.
