On November 4, 2026, on the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Mercury, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

His Eminence was served by the chairman of the parish council of the cathedral, Archpriest Alexander Bryantsev, Archpriest Sergiy Zryanin, head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Volgograd Diocese, Abbot Christopher (Kazantsev), as well as clergy of the cathedral.
