The units of the Russian Guard spoke about the Baptism of Rus' and Saint Prince Vladimirtranslated

On the eve of the Day of the Baptism of Rus' and the day of remembrance of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, spiritual and educational conversations were held in the divisions of the Directorate of the Russian Guard in the Chelyabinsk region. The meetings took place in the regional Directorate of the Russian Guard, as well as in the OMON “Warrior” and SOBR “Rifey”. They were conducted by the diocesan responsible for interaction with the Office of the National Guard for the Chelyabinsk region, Hieromonk Mikhail (Rudakov), and the head of the missionary department of the Chelyabinsk diocese, Konstantin Putnik. The participants were told about the Baptism of Rus', the spiritual feat of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and his contribution to the formation of Russian statehood. Particular attention was paid to the importance of the adoption of Christianity for the formation of the moral foundations of society, the strengthening of statehood and the development of the domestic military. They also discussed why Saint Prince Vladimir is considered the heavenly patron of law enforcement forces and what significance his legacy has for modern defenders of the Fatherland.
