Participants in the All-Russian automobile religious procession “Russia under the Intercession” brought icons of the Mother of God “Three Hands” and “Patron Saints of Entrepreneurs” for Novosibirsk residents to venerate. A prayer service in front of the shrines took place on August 9 in the cathedral in the name of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Novosibirsk. On the same day, a conference was held at the Diocesan House for representatives of the regional business community, where issues of preserving traditional values, the role of Orthodoxy in the life of society and possible areas of cooperation between the Church and the state were discussed. Official meetings became an important part of the program. In the government of the Novosibirsk region, the participants of the religious procession held negotiations with the Minister of Regional Policy Roman Burdin. Also at the Novosibirsk Diocesan Administration there was a meeting with Metropolitan Bartholomew of Novosibirsk and Berdsk.

During the dialogue, the parties touched upon the topics of social service, educational projects and support for cultural initiatives, as well as the possibility of holding joint events.
