A reading marathon has started in the Novoglagolevsky Church of the Great Martyr Panteleimontranslated

Over the course of a month, participants are invited to read one or more works of Christian literature - fiction, spiritual or popular science. These can also be classical works that touch on moral and spiritual issues.

After reading the book, participants are invited to share their impressions with loved ones and other parishioners, formatting their reflections in the form of a short essay or reader review. At the end of the marathon, all works will be combined into a common collage.

At the parish of the Church of the Great Martyr Panteleimon, events are regularly held to promote the reading of Christian literature. Previously, a book fair was held here, where publications and new products from leading Orthodox publishing houses were presented.

The organizers hope that the reading marathon will become another opportunity to get acquainted with good literature, discuss what they have read and share with each other books that help us think about faith and Christian life.
