The role of libraries in spiritual education will be discussed at the Minsk Theological Academytranslated

On November 16, 2026, within the framework of the XII Belarusian Christmas readings “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies,” the section “Spiritual enlightenment through the activities of libraries: traditional values and digital technologies” will be held.

The organizer of the section is the Coordination Council for Library Activities under the Synodal Department of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for Catechesis with the participation of the Minsk Theological Academy named after St. Cyril of Turov.

Employees of church libraries, managers and specialists of public libraries of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, libraries of educational institutions, and clergy are invited to participate in the work of the section.

In the problem field of the section, methodological aspects of the use of traditional and digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, in the spiritual and educational activities of libraries will be considered.
