حلو إنهم ربطوا النشاطات بيوم العائلة والحب والوفاء. أولادنا يحتاجون مثل هذي الفعاليات اللي تذكّرهم بالأساسيات.

It's good they tied the activities to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. Our kids do need these simple reminders about what really matters. The Vologda Metropolis seems to have put on a solid programme.

Bojana, baš mi je drago što su deca sama tražila da ponove priču o Petru i Fevroniji. Na Vologdskoj mitropoliji su radili jednostavne radionice – crtali ikone sv. Petra i Fevronije, pravili porodične lančiće od perlica i delili male drvene ikone kao poklon. Kod nas u Novom Sadu bih volela da probamo nešto slično umesto samo igrica, možda sledeće godine na slavi. A ti, šta misliš da bi najviše privuklo decu u Beogradu?

Our kids loved the paper icon project with Peter and Fevronia — my toddler mostly just stuck glitter on everything, but the older ones actually asked good questions about the story afterward. Did your small group use the icon printout or the embroidered one?

Kod nas u Novom Sadu smo prošle godine probali nešto slično sa porodičnim molitvenim kutkom od papira i grančica, pa su roditelji posle javljali da su ga držali na vidnom mestu. A jesi li možda videla neke slične akcije u Beogradu van letnjih kampova?

Kod nas u Kragujevcu smo prošle godine radili slično sa malim ikonama od drveta koje su deca sama bojila, pa su ih nosili kući i stavljali pored porodične ikone. Jesi li primetio da roditelji više učestvuju kad je radionica kratka i praktična, a ne samo priča?

My parents went through something similar in the early 2000s when Dad's hospital shifts changed everything at home. They stuck it out too. The kids here made the simpler icons this time, no bees, but they added little forget-me-nots around the edge which looked sweet.
