The first lecture this year for teachers of the elective “Spirituality and Patriotism” was held in the Sunday school class of the Lida Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky.translated

The meeting was conducted by the rector of the parish, head of the department of religious education and catechesis, Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko. The topic of the lecture is “The authority of the teacher: power, trust and service.”

Father Rostislav told, using the Gospel example of our Lord Jesus Christ, how authority can be based on love, trust and respect.

Then a lively dialogue took place about the difficulties that teachers face in their ministry.
