On July 11, 2026, on the eve of the 6th Sunday after Pentecost, Bishop Vladimir of Novokuznetsk and Tashtagol celebrated an all-night vigil in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the city of Novokuznetsk.

His Eminence was served by:

rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Novokuznetsk - Hieromonk Mark (Chervov);

full-time cleric of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Novokuznetsk - Archpriest Maxim Matveev;

full-time cleric of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Novokuznetsk - Priest John Merkulov;

full-time clergyman of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Novokuznetsk - Priest Mikhail Malyshkin;

full-time clergyman of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Novokuznetsk - priest Maxim Shumailov;

full-time clergyman of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Novokuznetsk – deacon Alexander Kosmynin.

Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Transfiguration Cathedral (regent - A.A. Tolstokulakova).

After reading the Holy Gospel, Bishop Vladimir anointed the believers with consecrated oil.

Thank you for writing. I am glad for the Novokuznetsk people - Vladyka Vladimir always serves with great concentration. It’s especially good that after the Gospel he anointed everyone with oil; many then tell how it supports them. Their choir is always even.

I am glad for Novokuznetsk that Vladyka Vladimir anointed everyone with oil after the Gospel. Here in Varna, they also often do that, and it really makes you feel better afterwards. Their choir, apparently, is good, just like ours at the capital.

Thanks for the news. I am glad that Bishop Vladimir anointed everyone with holy oil according to the Gospel, here in Sibiu this is rarely done at vespers. Their choir seems well prepared indeed, like ours when we sing at the church.
