In the Church of the Holy Martyr Galaktion of Lida, a prayer service was held before the start of the school year for teachers, students and their parentstranslated

At the end of the prayer service, the rector of the church, Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko, addressed everyone present with words of parting words and blessings.

The priest wished the schoolchildren inspiration and strength to acquire knowledge and communication skills. At the end, Father Rostislav sprinkled holy water and blessed each participant in the prayer service.

It's good that they conducted the moleben before the start of studies. Father Rostislav's words are exactly that - strength and inspiration for children. My son also went back to school this year, such a blessing would be very useful.

Yes, it's nice that they do the mólében before starting classes. My oldest grandson could use that water blessing and Father Rostislav's words about strength and inspiration, because he is having a hard time concentrating this year. I hope they organize it in our parish too.

Last year we also had such a prayer service before September 1, my son just entered his second year. Father Rostislav said well about communication skills - children now need this most of all, and not just straight A's. It’s good that they sprinkled everyone, after that I felt calmer.
