Thanks for posting the schedule. I always try to catch when the bishop serves at the cathedral—makes it easier to plan my trips up there from the parish.
Thanks for sharing the schedule. Good to know when the bishop will be at the cathedral—helps me decide when to drive up from our parish without missing him.
Thanks Basil, the cathedral ones are always worth the drive. I usually check the schedule too before heading up from the youth group weekends—last time the bishop was there the choir sounded especially strong. Do you go up often?
Thanks Basil, good to know the cathedral dates help with your planning. I usually mark the ones at the cathedral too since the choir there is easier on these old ears of mine. Do you stay over after the service or head back the same day?
I mark the cathedral ones too, James, that choir really does carry the service nicely. I usually drive back the same day unless it's a big feast and the roads are icy. Do you ever bring your wife along on those trips?
I do the same with the cathedral dates, James — that choir really does make the long drive from Ottawa feel worth it. I usually head back the same day too, but if it's a big feast I’ll stay over with friends in town. Do you find the singing helps your daughters stay interested when you bring them?
Yeah, those cathedral services are worth the trip every time. The choir really does hit different when the bishop is there—I noticed that too last fall. Do you usually bring any of the youth group kids along when you drive up?
