At the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary, issues of prison ministry were discussed at a round tabletranslated

On October 6, 2026, a round table “Prison ministry: the place and role of religious organizations in the correction and rehabilitation of convicts” was held at the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary. The event was organized jointly with the Ural State Law University named after V. F. Yakovlev as part of the XVIII All-Russian Forum “Legal Week in the Urals”.

The speakers of the round table were Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Sverdlovsk Region Elena Nikolaevna Artyukh, Regional Commissioner for Children's Rights Tatyana Aleksandrovna Titova, Assistant to the Head of the State Administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Sverdlovsk Region for organizing work with believers Archpriest Alexy Eliseev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary Archpriest Pyotr Mangilev, Secretary Academic Council of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary, teacher of the Ural State Law University, Hieromonk Prokopiy (Rudchenko), deputy mufti of the spiritual administration of Muslims of the region “Central Muftiate” Ibragim Ismailovich Yakubov.
