The first orientation session for master's students of a new profile in the training of military clergy began at the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminarytranslated

In October, the first orientation session began at the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary for correspondence master's students studying in the new specialized profile “Training of military clergy and interaction with the Armed Forces.”

The profile was opened at the theological school in accordance with the decision of the Holy Synod in 2025 in response to the pressing request of the Church and the state. The first intake of applicants for the program took place in the summer of this year. The direction is of an applied nature and is designed to prepare clergy and church specialists with deep theological knowledge, crisis psychology skills and a practical understanding of the specifics of pastoral care of military units, law enforcement agencies, participants in a special military operation and members of their families.

The curriculum of the first session opened with a cycle of intensive practical training, organized in the classrooms of the seminary and on the basis of the military training center of the Ural Federal University.
