BASILICA spoke to the new volunteers of the Association of Orthodox Theological Students (ASTO), who met on Wednesday in the General Assembly, at the "Dumitru Stăniloae" Continuing Education Center of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.

The first-year students at the "Justinian Patriarhul" Faculty of Theology in Bucharest gave testimonies about the motivation for which they came to study theology and about the choice to volunteer within ASTO.

The meeting was coordinated by the management of the association: Sebastian Tureac, president of ASTO; Daniel Lupu, vice-president of ASTO, and Andrei Cazacu, general secretary of ASTO.

"In addition to the spiritual and spiritual values that the association implicitly promotes, we also promote this unity of faith and sacrifice for the neighbor, of volunteering, because that's who we are," Sebastian Tureac said.
