Classes of the Patriarchal Bible study program continue in the Tara diocesetranslated

On Sundays, as part of the implementation of the Patriarchal Bible study program “Explore the Scriptures,” the Bible circle at the Spassky Cathedral in the city of Tara continues to work. For an Orthodox person, constant and careful reading of the Bible is a necessary condition for spiritual growth. However, in practice, the desire to study the Gospel at home often turns out to be a difficult task: there is no one with whom to discuss an unclear verse or understand a complex interpretation. So it turns out that we go to church for many years, read the Gospel, but do not understand it at all.
A Bible circle is a form of educational work that helps parishioners study the Holy Scriptures more deeply and understand them in the context of modern life.
The circle is led and classes are conducted by the cathedral cleric, priest Gheorghe Pinzaru. Father George outlined the main goal of this year’s meetings: to learn to look at the world through the eyes of the Bible - to comprehend modern events and personal experiences through the prism of Holy Scripture.
During the classes there is a discussion of the Gospel texts, those present share personal experiences and thoughts that they have, there is a lot of lively dialogue and deep reflection.
We invite everyone to attend classes.…
