The VII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Theology in the Scientific and Educational Space” will be held in Yekaterinburg on October 29–30, 2026. The scientific forum is traditionally organized by the Missionary Institute of the Ekaterinburg Diocese and the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary.

“The conference, held with the blessing of Metropolitan Evgeniy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, has been bringing together leading theologians, university teachers, clergy and specialists in the field of religious education from many regions of Russia for several years now,” said the Missionary Institute.

Over the course of two days, scientists, teachers and church specialists from different regions of Russia will discuss the role of theology in higher education, issues of religious education and spiritual and moral education, and the future of theology in the educational system of our country.

There will be a youth session for young researchers. Following the results of the conference, the next issue of the scientific journal “Theology in the Scientific and Educational Space” (RSCI) will be published.
