In Dobrush we talked with high school students about the culture of speechtranslated

On October 22, 2026, at secondary school No. 1 Dobrush, as part of the “School of Active Citizen” project, a film lecture was held on the culture of speech and the problem of foul language. Education specialist in the Dobrush deanery T. N. Grudovenko met with high school students.

Students watched a fragment of the release of the documentary and educational project “Exeget” “Pandemic of foul language. How to stop swearing?”, the participants of which were Bishop Pitirim (Tvorogov) and priest Valery Dukhanin.

After the viewing, a discussion took place. Together with the schoolchildren we talked about the reasons for the spread of obscene language, about why rude speech is increasingly perceived as a common part of communication, as well as about its impact on relationships between people and the atmosphere in the family.

Special attention was paid to how a person can consciously work on his speech, refuse rude words and create a more respectful culture of communication.

The project material was recommended for viewing in educational institutions by the department of religious education and catechesis of the Gomel diocese.
