On July 3, 2026, the cleric of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Convent in Brest, Priest Pavel Kravchuk, together with the pupils of the Sunday school, performed a funeral litany “for all who laid down their lives for the Fatherland and our people during the Great Patriotic War, who were martyred in captivity, who died from serious wounds, hunger and deprivation,” and then timed to coincide with Independence Day Belarus thanksgiving prayer to the Savior, the Most Holy Theotokos and all the saints of the Belarusian land for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, years of blessed peace, well-being and prosperity granted to our God-protected people.
