The final summer gathering of Orthodox pathfinders took place in the Chelyabinsk diocesetranslated

With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, the interregional final forest gathering of Orthodox pathfinders “Principality” was held on Lake Uvildy. 230 children from Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and Bashkir regional branches of the all-Russian organization “Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders” took part in it. For 10 days, young explorers immersed themselves in creative, sports and patriotic events, went on hikes and cooked over a fire. The main theme of the gathering was “Traditions and culture of the peoples of Russia.” All units represented different nations. One of the most striking events was the competition of national dishes. Among the mentors of the meeting there were 5 priests. On Sunday, the children came to the Church of St. George the Victorious in the village of Gubernskoye, where about 200 people received Holy Communion at the Liturgy. The day of remembrance of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia was special. In the morning, a prayer service was served for the preservation of all families and the increase of love, and in the evening the ceremony of Memory of the Faithful was performed, where a litany was served for all the pathfinders and warriors who presented themselves to the Lord.
