With the blessing of Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, on September 8, the day of the celebration of the Presentation of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, celebrations were held in Belgorod on the occasion of the patronal feast and the 5th anniversary of the consecration of the main Cossack church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. On the same day, the opening of the joint headquarters of the Belgorod region Cossacks took place. The Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God was performed by the Head of the Belgorod Metropolis, Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, co-served by the dean of the First Belgorod District, Archpriest Oleg Kobts, the rector of the church, Archpriest Mikhail Garas, the cleric of the church, Archpriest John Suvorov, and the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross.
