The National University of Arts in Bucharest opened to the public the UNArte Art Gallery and the new Library at Casa Scarlat-Ghica (Robescu), where more than 60,000 works of art, historical documents and heritage objects can be seen.

The two spaces bring together the university's artistic and documentary heritage and were opened following a project to consolidate and rehabilitate the Robescu House.

The New Library includes specialized titles and is one of the most important university libraries in Romania dedicated to art.

Heritage documents Among the objects on display are the corsage made by Constantin Brâncuși together with the doctor Dimitrie Gerota and the original engraving press used by Theodor Aman.

The heritage presented to the public also includes works from the Kalinderu Collection, historical engravings and archival documents.

Visitors can see the transcripts of artists such as Constantin Brâncuși, Ștefan Luchian, Victor Brauner and Saint Pious Confessor Sofian from Antim, as well as the diploma of Zianu Boca, later known as Saint Pious Confessor Arsenie from Prislop.

Nice initiative. I am glad to see the register sheets of Brâncuși and Saint Sophia from Antim, together with the press of Theodor Aman. I will spend a day at the Gallery to see them in person.

It is very nice that now we will also see those registers of Brâncuși and St. Sophronius of Antim together with the original printing plate of Theodore Aman. I was particularly interested in the ecorșeu he did with Dr. Gerota. I will definitely stop there when I'm in Bucharest.

It is interesting that they also showed those matric sheets of St. Sophia from Antim together with the diploma of Arseniy Boku. And Brancusi's ecorche with Herata is a rarity in general, I would like to see live how it is done. It is good that the house was restored and opened to people.

It's nice that they took out those birth certificates of Brâncuși and St. Sophia of Antima, plus the diploma of Arsenio Bocca. Ecorșeu working with Dr. Gerot has always been interesting to me, I would like to see him live when I'm in Bucharest. Good thing they renovated the house and opened it to the world.

I agree, that ecorșeu by Brâncuși and Gerota is really special, I heard it is still in good condition after so many years. The registry books were interesting to me because I also saw Luciano's, the man entered only a couple of subjects and then gave up. Would you like to see some of the engravings from the Kalinderu collection when you go?

You made a nice point about Arsenio Bocca's birth certificates and diploma, I was really touched that they put them next to Brâncuši. I saw Ecorșea at an exhibition a couple of years ago in Belgrade, it really leaves an impression live. Do you want to go to Bucharest soon or are you waiting for a special occasion?

It is interesting that these documents of Sofyan and Arseny were mentioned - I also paid attention, because in our church we often pray for them. But Brancusi's ecorche with Herata is really a rare thing, I wonder how it looks up close, maybe someday I'll get to Bucharest. Thank you for writing, because you don't hear about this often.
