A century of Orthodox Missiology at university level will be marked by an international symposium in Bucharesttranslated

A century since the establishment of Orthodox Missiology studies at the university level will be marked in Bucharest by an international symposium dedicated to Professor Vasile Gh. Ispir, organized on September 28-29.

The event is organized by the Center for Interreligious and Interdisciplinary Studies of the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest and will bring together academics, researchers and doctoral students from the country and abroad.

The theme of the symposium will follow the evolution of Orthodox missiology studies, from their university beginnings to the challenges of contemporary society.

Opening of the symposium The works will be opened on Monday, September 28, in the "I. G. Coman" Amphitheater of the theological education institution in Bucharest, through an inaugural session moderated by Rev. Prof. Univ. Dr. Radu Petre Mureșan, director of the Center for Interreligious and Interdisciplinary Studies.
