A group of parents from Argeș participated last week in a counseling session on the role of Christian models in children's education, organized at Valea Danului Parish.
The activity is part of the "Saint Ilie Tesviteanul" National Center for Youth Activities Project, an initiative dedicated to supporting children and young people from vulnerable communities.
The "School of Parents" program supports the Christian family through counseling meetings and dialogue. Parents receive benchmarks for raising children in the spirit of faith, love and responsibility.
The power of personal example The guest, Fr. Prof. Constantin Patuleanu spoke to the participants about the importance of personal example in the training of children. He emphasized that the family is the first place where the child learns love, faith, respect and responsibility.
During the meeting it was shown that authentic models do not promote easy success or individualistic affirmation. They cultivate Christian virtues such as humility, kindness, self-sacrifice, truth and love for God and neighbor. Children learn these values through what they see in everyday life.
