A schoolbag for everyone: the Sălaj Diocese provided supplies for 250 children at the beginning of the new school yeartranslated

The Bishopric of Sălaj provided supplies for approximately 250 children from vulnerable families at the beginning of the new school year.

The action is part of the "A backpack for everyone" campaign and is carried out by the Social Sector and the Porolissum Philanthropy Association. Some of the prepared materials reached the beneficiaries on Friday and Saturday.

The initiative received the support of the Romanian community in Austria. Parish priest Radu Boșcu from the "Holy Martyrs Brâncoveni" Church in Baden, together with the faithful of the parish, prepared 50 schoolbags for the children of the Sălaj Diocese.

In addition to providing supplies, the project also includes providing a scholarship throughout the school year.

The representatives of the Sălaj Diocese urge those who want to join the effort to support the granting of scholarships and other social projects intended for vulnerable children and families.
