“Strengthened in knowledge, enriched by the experience of colleagues”: the department of religious education and catechesis held a pedagogical workshop for Sunday school teacherstranslated

About 50 Sunday school teachers of the Yekaterinburg diocese took part in the next pedagogical workshop, organized by the department of religious education and catechesis of the Yekaterinburg diocese. The meeting was devoted to the methods of teaching Sacred history and hagiography, as well as the theme of the year “Christian teaching about man.”

The immersion in the topic “Christian teaching about man” began with a lecture by the head of the diocesan department of religious education and catechesis, Priest Vasily Ravlik. During the conversation, the pastor introduced the teachers to the teachings of the Church about the causes and consequences of the Fall for all mankind, and about the impossibility of salvation from these consequences only by the forces of man himself.
