The exhibition "Nikos Gavriel Pentzikis: Thremma of Athos" was inaugurated on Monday, October 26, by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos An. Tasoulas, at the Agioreitiki Estia, in Thessaloniki, in the context of the 61st Demetrius of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. Report office ope.gr

The hieromonk Hieronymos Simonopetritis, the mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, and the President of the Hellenic Republic addressed the event, while Gavriel Nikolaou Pentzikis, its curator, spoke about the content and importance of the exhibition.

The presentation and coordination of the event was done by the director of the Holy Home, Anastasios Douros.

The exhibition is dedicated to the deep and multidimensional relationship of Nikos Gavriel Pentzikis (1908–1993) with Mount Athos, which was a timeless source of inspiration for his artistic and spiritual work. His contact with the Athenian State, which spanned six decades and included 94 visits, substantially influenced his painting, writing and personal worldview.
