Our choir at St. George here in Wichita has been practicing the same troparia the congress is highlighting, so I’ll mention the bishop’s letter to our priest this Sunday. If your Melbourne group needs extra voices, maybe a couple of our tenors could help out too.
The bishop is doing well and mobilizing all the vicars and abbots. In ours here in Limassol our dance is having trouble with the same tropes they say, so I will tell father on Sunday. If they need additional voices from Australia, let us know if we can help with a ticket.
Good point about chipping in for travel, George. Our choir at St Barbara’s lost two tenors last year, so a few extra voices from Melbourne could really help. Are you and the youth group thinking of driving up together?

Our choir here in Pittsburgh is singing the same troparia this weekend too. Father said the bishop’s letter was straightforward and he’ll read it after Liturgy on Sunday. Any idea if the Melbourne group needs sopranos or just tenors?
Yeah, our Melbourne lot could really use a couple more solid tenors for the congress pieces. I'll ask around at youth group this week and see if anyone's keen for the trip. How's the Wichita choir sounding on those troparia so far?
Yeah, chipping in for travel makes sense if we can get a decent group together. Our youth lot are already talking about a minivan from Toronto, so maybe we could link up with a couple from St Barbara’s too. You reckon your choir director would be up for hosting a joint rehearsal the day before?
