Tikhvin elementary school students come to the parish center to watch cartoonstranslated

Pre-screenings of competitive films of the Tikhvin International Film Festival “Under the Protection of the Mother of God “Tikhvin”” were organized for primary school students in Tikhvin (Leningrad Region) at the Spiritual Educational Center at the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The guys watched the live-action and animated films in one breath. Such films teach empathy, thinking and seeing the light in any situation, the festival organizers are convinced.

According to the diocese's website, the show program included very different, but equally strong works, raising themes of faith, mercy and choice. They were created by young directors and animators. In particular, the children became acquainted with the works “The Bishop and the Robber” and “The Samaritan”, in which biblical stories and parables are reinterpreted; “Parable of Goodness” and “Special Talent”, which tell about the most important things in everyone; “Lines from Childhood”, “For the Sake of Our Lives” and “Dreams in the Pocket”, which reflect on the world, its problems and children's dreams.

The opening of the children's film festival program will take place on October 11 at the Palace of Culture named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov at the address: Tikhvin, Karl Marx Street, building 30.
