Participation of Samara Orthodox entrepreneurs in the all-Russian meeting and recording of programs on Radio VERAtranslated

Last weekend, a delegation of Samara entrepreneurs led by the head of the regional branch of the Union of Orthodox Entrepreneurs Denis Anisimov took part in an all-Russian meeting of representatives of Orthodox business in Moscow. As part of the event, a prayer service was offered to the patron saints of entrepreneurship and an akathist was read to St. Spyridon of Trimythous in the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky at MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The service was led by Archpriest Igor Fomin, who in his sermon addressed those gathered with a word about the Christian attitude to work, family and the importance of using personal talents for the benefit of the Church. After the completion of the prayer service, communication between the participants continued in an informal setting. With the blessing of Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk, representatives of Samara also visited the Moscow studio of the Vera radio station, where they took part in the recording of the series “Faith and Cause” as part of the “Bright Evening” program with host Konstantin Matsan.
