The creative team of the Sunday school and parishioners of the church in the name of St. Stephen of Great Perm presented the play “The Tricky Birch” in three cities of the Perm regiontranslated

From October 1 to October 4, 2026, the creative team of the Sunday school and parishioners of the Yekaterinburg church in the name of St. Stephen of Great Perm made a pilgrimage trip to the holy places of the Perm region. The trip became the central stage of the project “Link of Times: The Mission of St. Stephen of Great Perm,” implemented thanks to grant support from the “Orthodox Initiative” competition. It was the grant that made it possible to take many years of parish work to a qualitatively new level and present the original missionary performance in three cities at once, associated with the preaching of the saint.

The performance was presented at the Perm Orthodox Classical Gymnasium in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh, which gathered 170 students, at the Cherdynsky St. John the Theological Monastery and on the stage of the Central Theater and Youth Theater "Zvezdny" in Solikamsk. About 120 spectators watched it here.

Each performance was accompanied by an extensive educational program prepared within the framework of the grant: an exhibition of children's drawings reflecting scenes from the life of St. Stephen of Great Perm; presentation about Saint Stephen, telling about his missionary path and significance for Perm...
