Young people from the Diocese of Northern Europe participated in a pilgrimage to the monasteries in Romaniatranslated

Young people from the Diocese of Northern Europe participated, this week, in a pilgrimage organized to several monasteries in Romania.
One of the groups of pilgrims was accompanied by His Holiness Father Macarie. Among the participants were the twin brothers Cleopa and Paisie from Greenland, baptized by the hierarch.
The activities are part of the spiritual training programs dedicated to the young generations in the diaspora.
"In a world where many young people are wasted by loneliness, restlessness, digital addictions and lack of landmarks, pilgrimages, camps and meetings at monasteries and missionary settlements become occasions for soul healing, pure friendship and strengthening in faith," the representatives of the diocese said in a post on Facebook.
During the summer, groups of young Romanians and Scandinavians will participate in camps and spiritual activities organized at monastic settlements in the country, accompanied by parish priests and volunteers.
