"The Golden Wedding belongs to those celebrations in which time acquires a special spiritual significance, because it is no longer measured only in years, but in fidelity, in sacrifice, in patience and in the good that two souls have built together", conveyed the Most Reverend Father Iustin, the Bishop of Maramureș and Sătmarău, at the Golden Wedding 2026 organized by Baia Mare City Hall for 120 couples who celebrated 50 years of marriage.

The message was sent by Archimandrite Ioachim Tomoiagă, Councilor at the Social-Philanthropic Sector of the Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar, delegated by the hierarch to participate in the celebratory ceremony entitled "The Christian family - the church at home", held at the Europa Restaurant in Baia Mare.
