The Romanian Orthodox hierarchs of USA attend Great Vespers with Assembly of Bishops in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania

BRIDGEVILLE, PA – On Saturday, October 3, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, together with His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland, Auxiliary Bishop of the Episcopate, attended Great Vespers at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, alongside fellow hierarchs of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.

His Grace Bishop Thomas of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America presided over the service, which brought together more than 150 faithful from the Pittsburgh area.

At the conclusion of Great Vespers, Very Rev. Fr. Jason DelVitto, the parish priest, welcomed the hierarchs and conveyed the prayers of the local clergy and faithful for a fruitful meeting of the Assembly. Bishop Thomas thanked the parish community for its hospitality and emphasized the unity of the Church expressed through gathering, worshiping, and receiving Holy Communion together.

Archbishop Elpidophoros, Chairman of the Assembly, also greeted the clergy and faithful, highlighting the gathering as an opportunity to experience the diversity of Orthodox Christianity…
