The new website of the "The Catechist" program of the School of Theology of the Holy Cross of Boston is up and runningtranslated

The Holy Cross School of Theology - Hellenic College (HCHC) announced the launch of the new website for the "The Catechist: The Art of Listening and Teaching" program. This is a new training program, which leads to the granting of a certificate and is offered by the School of Theology of the Holy Cross as part of the initiative "The Scriptorium". "The Catechist" program is the fruit of the vision of the Reverend Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros and the Reverend members of the Holy Provincial Synod. Its aim is to respond to the ever greater pastoral need for the training of lay catechists, who assist the clergy in the apostolic and teaching work of the Church. The idea was then elaborated by the teaching staff of the School of Theology of the Holy Cross and gave it a concrete academic form, under the guidance of the dean, Protopresbyter Dr. Eugene J. Pentiuc.

The academic direction of the program is shared by Fr. Evgenios Pediuk and Dr. James C. Skedros.
