Bucharest theologians exhibited their works of sacred art: The workshops open their doors to the publictranslated

The exhibition "From the students' workshops. Icons, workshop studies, restoration projects" was opened on Thursday at the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Orthodox Theology in the Capital.
The opening was attended by Fr. university professor Nicușor Beldiman, director of the Department of Systematic Theology, Practice and Sacred Art, Fr. university professor David Pestroiu, vice dean of the faculty, Fr. lect. university Silviu Tudose, vice dean responsible for student activity, nun Atanasia Văetiși and lecturer Răzvan Bădescu, the initiator of the exhibition.
Reverend Prof. Nicușor Beldiman emphasized that through this exhibition, "the workshops open their doors to the public, allowing one to glimpse not only the results of a didactic activity, but also the path traveled, a path of study and gradual discovery of the language of the sacred image".
"The themes of the workshop are actually the main themes of Christian art, the icon of the Savior, the Mother of God, the four evangelists, apostles, holy martyrs and the pious. By joining them on these panels, an exhibition is set up, but a sacred space is also suggested," added the teacher father.
The event was organized by the Faculty of Theology...
