The priest had a conversation with Sharypovo rescuers about faith and servicetranslated

On October 29, the assistant dean of the churches of the Sharypovo district, Priest Vasily Popovsky, visited fire and rescue unit No. 47 of the city of Sharypovo, where he gave a lecture and conversation with employees of the 11th fire and rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The meeting was dedicated to the topic “Emergency code: why the holiday of November 4 and the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God remain relevant for firefighters and rescuers today.” The central theme of the conversation was unity - the ability of people to unite in the face of challenges, support each other and overcome difficulties together. Turning to the history of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the participants recalled events in which common prayer and hope for God’s help became an important part of uniting the people in difficult times for the Fatherland.
This theme was also reflected in the conversation about the modern rescue service. Father Vasily noted that in the work of firefighters and rescuers, team cohesion, mutual assistance, loyalty to duty and the willingness to risk oneself to save others are of particular importance, because in an emergency, human life may depend on the coordination of everyone’s actions.
At the end of the meeting, information was distributed to employees…
