Pamatuji si, jak se u nás v nemocnici starší pacienti z Balkánu o něm bavili. Liturgie před rakví je vážná věc, ale pořád mě napadá, jestli by nebylo lepší, kdyby se tolik energie věnovalo smíření místo oslavování generálů. Co si o tom myslíte vy?

I remember hearing about the hospital patients from the Balkans too, Jan. A Liturgy before the coffin is always serious, but I still think the Church has to pray for every soul that comes before her, no matter what the man did in life. Reconciliation is important, yet forgetting to pray for the dead doesn’t get us any closer to it.
