With the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, on August 9, 2026, the second shift of the diocesan family gathering for the families of clergy and Sunday school students of the Gomel diocese started at the courtyard of the St. Nicholas Monastery in the agricultural town of Teryukha. The first day began with a prayer service, which was performed by the confessor of the family gathering, the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the agricultural town of Rogin, Buda-Koshelevsky district, Priest Alexander Asadchy.

After a general prayer, the participants settled in a tent camp, became acquainted with the rules of behavior and safety, as well as the program for the coming days.

We continued the first day of the acquaintance games, which were conducted by the coordinator of the department of religious education and catechesis of the Gomel diocese Svetlana Khomets and volunteer Elena Bogdanovich. They helped the participants get to know each other and join the general program of the meeting.

In the evening, families gathered for a joint meal in nature. The program continued with general prayer, a conversation with the priest and a meeting around the fire.
