A meeting of the Bishops' Council of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis was heldtranslated

On July 28, after the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, a meeting of the Bishops' Council of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis was held, headed by Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, head of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis. The meeting of the council was attended by Bishop Pavel of Trinity and South Ural, Bishop Seraphim of Zlatoust and Satka, and Secretary of the Bishops' Council Archpriest Igor Shestakov. The Council discussed the issue of holding St. John Chrysostom readings in the Chrysostom diocese. Currently, every diocese of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis hosts major forums that unite the clergy, authorities and public organizations, youth and the scientific community: regional Christmas readings in Chelyabinsk, Peter's readings in Magnitogorsk, the Trinity in Trinity festival. Council members decided to hold St. John Chrysostom readings every year on November 25-26 in the city of Zlatoust. The events will include ceremonial services and a conference with a discussion of current spiritual and moral issues. CDRO Chelyabinsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. All rights reserved.
